• Court registration fees have been reduced from £110 per LPA to £82 per LPA as ministers thought that this would encourage people to prepare Lasting Powers of Attorney to give peace of mind to families for the future.

    Given the increased awareness of Dementia and other mental health matters, the government thought that it would be a good idea to reduce the court fees for LPAs/EPAs in the hope that this would encourage more people to execute the documents.
