Kent-based law firm Brachers has been appointed to the legal advisory panel of Hampden, marking a significant milestone for its award-winning Private Client team.
Hampden supports investors at Lloyd’s of London, providing a comprehensive suite of advisory and administrative services to ultra and high-net-worth individuals as well as trade investors. As a member of the legal panel, Brachers will advise on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), and estate tax planning, areas in which the firm has built a strong reputation for excellence and discretion.
This prestigious appointment reflects the Private Client team’s expertise in complex legal and financial matters, and their ability to deliver bespoke solutions to high-net-worth individuals and families. It also reinforces Brachers’ growing presence in the private wealth sector.
Christopher Eriksson-Lee, Partner and Head of the Private Client team, commented:
“Being appointed to the Hampden panel reflects our dedication to excellence and our unwavering commitment to serving the unique needs of our clients. We are proud to be recognised for our specialist knowledge and client-focused approach.”
The appointment follows a year of significant achievements for the team. In 2024, Brachers enhanced its tax and trusts advisory capabilities with the strategic hire of a senior associate, contributing to a 33% increase in fee income for the Trusts team. The firm also celebrated the promotion of a new partner within the Wills and Probate team, further strengthening its leadership and expertise.
The team’s excellence was also recognised on a national stage, winning both Will Writing Firm of the Year and Probate Law Firm of the Year – Regional at the National Probate Awards 2025 earlier this year. The Trusts team has also recently been shortlisted at the Modern Law Private Client Awards 2025 for ‘Private Client Team – Tax and Trusts Team’.
Joanna Worby, Managing Partner at Brachers, said:
“Our recent awards and the appointment to the Hampden legal panel are clear indicators of our leadership in the field of private wealth legal advice. We are proud of our team’s achievements and look forward to continuing to provide top-tier services to our clients.”
Brachers’ momentum has been further bolstered by its recent integration into Lawfront, a national group of regional law firms. This partnership enables the firm to deliver more efficient and effective solutions through investment in advanced technology and streamlined processes, while maintaining its commitment to personal, high-quality service.
