  • Brachers is celebrating another year of excellent rankings in a leading legal directory, with the firm being ranked in seven practice areas and 11 lawyers recommended in the Chambers UK Legal Guide 2024.

Chambers and Partners is a global independent research company delivering detailed rankings and insight into the world’s leading law firms. Each year, Chambers’ researchers conduct tens of thousands of interviews with clients, in-house counsel and third-party experts, such as barristers and accountants. These insights enable organisations and individuals to make informed decisions when selecting legal services.

This year, Brachers saw seven practice areas ranked by Chambers and Partners: Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Corporate/M&A, Employment, Family/Matrimonial, Litigation, Real Estate, and Real Estate Litigation.

Clients praised the expertise of the firm’s lawyers, with one commenting: “Brachers provided exceptional levels of service and were extremely responsive.” While another said: “We felt a real sense of comfort and confidence knowing that all complex issues were in very capable hands.”

The firm is also proud to see several lawyers recognised in the premier guide. Partners Allis Beasley, Ash Jilani, Catherine Daw, Claire Williams, Colin Smith, James Bullock, Mark Leeson, Matthew Simmonds, Mei-Ling McNab, Michael Oatham, Sarah Gaines have all been individually ranked by the directory once again.

Managing Partner, Joanna Worby, said: “It’s fantastic to receive such high praise in Chambers’ prestigious UK Guide. Chambers’ rankings are based heavily on client feedback, reflecting the incredible service our staff deliver while reinforcing Brachers’ position as a leading law firm the South East. Warmest congratulations to my colleagues who have worked so hard this year.”

This is the latest recognition for Brachers by prestigious legal guides. In July, the firm maintained its Band 2 ranking in the Chambers High Net Worth Guide 2023, which ranks the top players and law firms for international private wealth. In September, our lawyers were recognised as having ‘the personal touch’ and ‘always willing to go the extra mile’ by leading directory The Legal 500 2024.
