    Michaela is a Solicitor in our Elderly and Vulnerable Private Client sub team having joined Brachers in 2025. Michaela studied Law at the University of Warwick and qualified as a Solicitor in 2023 through the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) route. Michaela is a member of The Association of Lifetime Lawyers, having successfully achieved the Lifetime Care in Practice Award. She is currently working towards attaining Accredited Member status.

    Prior to joining Brachers, Michaela gained private client experience working at two other Kent law firms.

    In addition to her private client experience, Michaela has over three years’ experience working with vulnerable clients within family law, with a focus on providing assistance to survivors of domestic abuse. During this role, she undertook advocacy in the Family Courts where she represented clients in applications to obtain Non-Molestation Orders as well as representing clients at the return hearings.

    Michaela specialises in:

    • Drafting simple and complex Wills
    • Drafting Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
    • Applying for Grants of Representation
    • Dealing with the administration of both taxable and non-taxable estates
    • Drafting documents relevant to trusts, such as deeds of retirement and appointment

    Michaela is based in the Maidstone office.
