    Brachers is proud to have served the people of Kent for 130 years. From our beginnings in 1895, where Henry James Bracher set up the firm with two other partners, to today, one thing remains and that is our family ethos. We are dedicated to supporting our clients, colleagues and communities and build lasting relationships that often span over multiple generations.

    Lawfront

    In February 2025, Brachers became part of Lawfront, which provides legal services to individuals and businesses through leading regional law firms.

    Backed by private equity fund Blixt, Lawfront’s vision is to build a high quality, national business, dedicated to its people, and retaining the very best in the profession to provide the very best possible service to clients.

    Lawfront backs its regional firms to achieve their growth ambitions through investment in people, technology, cross-group collaboration and further local acquisitions, with the support of a highly experienced central team.

    Our communities

    Playing an active role in our community is extremely important to us at Brachers. From supporting a charity of the year, to sponsorship of local sports teams, our work to become a ‘Dementia Friendly Organisation’ and the extensive involvement of our staff in supporting local people and organisations, we are committed to make a difference and give back to those around us. This is showcased through our activities under Corporate Social Responsibility.
