Tell me about your career at Brachers so far.
I began my career at Brachers over two years ago, initially joining as a Paralegal in the Commercial Litigation team. During this time, I completed my Masters in Law with Legal Practice Course which greatly contributed to my professional growth. Prior to joining Brachers, I have accumulated extensive experience in local Kent law firms.
From September 2023, I worked as a Trainee Solicitor with seats in the Employment team and Private Client team. I qualified as a solicitor in 2025 and now work within the Employment team. In a few sentences, describe a typical day for you
I am currently on my second seat in the Employment team. My typical day involves working on both contentious and non-contentious matters, providing support to all fee earners in the team. I engage in legal research, drafting documents and communicating with clients. I am always given the opportunity to work on tasks I haven’t done before and have exposure to all aspects of progressing matters.
The team is very supportive and always have time to provide me with feedback. We have regular catch-ups to support each other and manage workloads effectively.
What do you like most about what you do here at Brachers?
What I appreciate most about Brachers is its strong commitment to community involvement and charity work, which aligns with my values.
Shortly after joining Brachers, I became a member of Brachers’ Community Relations Committee where I help organise fundraising events and volunteer at the firm’s charity of the year- currently Team Tutsham.
I also have been trained as a dementia friend and taken part in the Tunbridge Wells Legal Walk which raises money for Citizens Advice.
What’s your favourite part of working with your team and wider colleagues?
