• Brachers Corporate team has advised long-standing clients Ray and Amanda Mifsud on the successful sale of BTL-UK Limited to Dacke Industri Holding AB, a Swedish-based industrial group.

BTL-UK Limited, based in Ashford, Kent, is a specialist manufacturer of mechanical power transmission components and precision-engineered products. Serving sectors such as agriculture, construction, and medical, the company has built a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and innovation since its founding in 1991. Its product range includes bearings, belts, linkage systems, and custom-engineered components for OEMs across the UK and Europe.

The buyer, Dacke Industri Holding AB, is a Swedish industrial group headquartered in Helsingborg. Founded in 2016, Dacke Industri invests in technology-driven companies that focus on customised components and systems. The acquisition of BTL-UK aligns with Dacke Industri’s strategy of expanding its footprint in the European industrial components market.

The Brachers team was led by Corporate Partner James Bullock, with support from Cameron Gaston-Penny, Corporate Solicitor and Claire Williams, Corporate Partner.

Ray and Amanda Mifsud said: “We are incredibly grateful to the Brachers team for their expert guidance and unwavering support throughout the transaction. Their professionalism and responsiveness gave us real confidence at every stage.”

James Bullock, Partner, Brachers, said: “It was a pleasure to support Ray and Amanda on this important transaction. The deal reflects the strength of BTL-UK and the exciting opportunities ahead under Dacke Industri’s ownership.”

The sellers were also advised by Eddi Taylor and David Ellis of Azets on accounting and tax matters.
