• MegaGrowth 50, the annual awards that ranks the 50 fastest-growing businesses across Kent, is now open for applications.

This prestigious league table recognises and celebrates innovative companies in the region that are driving strong economic growth. From startups making waves to established businesses experiencing exponential growth, MegaGrowth 50 provides businesses a platform to showcase their success and connect with other exciting organisations.

Now in its 21st year, this annual list is based on the average turnover growth of privately owned businesses that have a minimum turnover of £1 million, as stipulated in full accounts registered at Companies House across the last four years.

Businesses with four years’ notable turnover growth that do not register full accounts at Companies House can also be recognised and are invited to submit their accounts for consideration.

The initiative is once again, brought to you by business advisors and accountants Kreston Reeves and leading law firm Brachers, in partnership with Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce.

James Bullock, Head of Corporate and Commercial at Brachers, said: “As MegaGrowth 50 returns for another year, we’re excited to celebrate the resilience and innovation of Kent’s businesses. At Brachers, we love a good success story and we’re lucky to work in a county with so many thriving and entrepreneurial businesses. Through the MegaGrowth 50 initiative, we’re looking forward to discovering the next generation of high-growth companies, hearing their stories and celebrating their achievements.”

Nigel Fright, Managing Partner at Kreston Reeves, adds: “It’s always great to see Kent businesses thriving and being able to give them the recognition they deserve is an honour. MegaGrowth 50, unlike traditional business awards, picks up the fantastic success stories of businesses who don’t ever shout about it. We are proud to have been associated with MegaGrowth 50 for over 10 years and taking part in recognising Kent businesses for their growth, as well as highlighting that this county is a great place to do business.”

Tudor Price, Chief Executive Officer, Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce, added: “Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce is delighted to be supporting MegaGrowth 50 once again this year. It is important for us to be part of this celebration of successful businesses as it demonstrates that our county is a great place to grow a business. It also highlights that the Chamber is here to support and advise local businesses through the challenges that often come with a fast growth path.”

    How to apply?

If you have filed a full set of accounts at Companies House in each of the last four years, you do not need to fill out an application form as your figures will be downloaded by the MegaGrowth 50 project team.
