• Brachers is proud to support the Canterbury community by returning as a sponsor of the Canterbury Festival, taking place from Saturday 19 October to Saturday 2 November.

Now in its 40th year, the festival showcases the best of Kent’s arts and culture while celebrating the vibrant city of Canterbury. Visitors will enjoy a teeming programme of performances, music, talks, family events and more, taking place across the city.

In show of our support, Brachers is delighted to sponsor the Derek Nash Band with Noel McCalla performance on Monday 28 October, 8pm, at Westgate Hall.

Noel McCalla and Derek will come together to perform jazz, blues and soul classics, plus a few of Stevie Wonder’s compositions from their award-winning show The Wonder of Stevie.

Priority booking for Festival Friends will open on Monday 29 July, 11am. General bookings open on Monday 12 August.

Brachers’ Managing Partner, Joanna Worby, said: “Every year, the Canterbury Festival invigorates the city, bringing with it entertainment, civic pride and community. As a business based in the heart of the city, Brachers is delighted to support the event again this year, and we cannot wait to see Derek Nash Band and Noel McCalla perform.”

Amanda McKean, Interim Director, Canterbury Festival added: “Canterbury Festival works closely with the Business community in the region who help support our work.  For the last two years we have been delighted to welcome Brachers as one of our valued sponsors as they realise the value of the arts and the positive impact, they have on people lives and wellbeing.  As is evident from their strapline, ‘With you all the way’, Brachers also believe in giving something back to the communities that they work in so working with us is a perfect partnership.”
