Since the COVID-19 pandemic working from home and hybrid working is an entrenched part of many office workers’ lives. However, we are seeing the return to office debate heating up, with some employers calling their staff back into the workplace five days a week. This is likely to result in an increase in flexible working requests, which became a lot more accessible following the rule changes on 6 April 2024, and may be strengthened by the current Labour Government following the unveiling of the Employment Rights Bill.
