Monikar Cheema

Profile:

Monikar qualified as a Solicitor in March 2025 and currently works within the Employment team.

She joined Brachers in April 2022 as a Paralegal in the Commercial Litigation team. As a Trainee Solicitor, Monikar gained experience in various departments, including Corporate & Commercial, Employment, and Private Client teams.

Before qualifying, Monikar gained over seven years of experience in legal support roles in both commercial and property law at local Kent firms.

She obtained her Master of Law with Legal Practice Course (LPC) from the University of Law in August 2022.

Monikar advises on day-to-day workplace issues, both contentious and non-contentious, and frequently assists individual clients with settlement agreements. She also supports employer clients by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contractual documents and policies, and provides representation in Employment Tribunals.

Monikar is based in our Maidstone office.
